Departure at 7:30 A.M. from “Aleksandar Nevski” Square, Sofia City. Situated in the heart of the famous Valley of the Roses, Kazanlak is a town with an interesting history. Tombs of many Thracian Kings were found around the nowadays town. Here is the UNESCO site of the Kazanlak Tomb, as well as the tomb of the mighty ruler Sevt the Third, dating from 5th century B.C. The excursion programme includes a visit to the museum of one of Bulgaria's national symbols – the rose. Departure back to Sofia – at 4 P.M. Arrival in Sofia to “Aleksandar Nevski” Square.
