Sunny Beach Resort – the biggest Bulgarian sea resort – is situated in the southern part of the Black Sea coast line and is surrounded by a beautiful half-moon shaped bay with eastward direction. The north part of the resort reaches the slopes of Stara Planina Mountain range, which makes a wonderful combination of sea and mountain. CLIMATE:
The climate is typical Black Sea climate, with warm to hot summer, cooled by the sea breeze, mild winter with very little snow cover, beautiful spring, arriving around March 15th, and warm and sunny autumn lasting until mid December.

The resort's coast line is 10 km long, 30-60 metres width with small, smooth, golden sand, natural sand dunes with about 16 plant species growing in there. How can we reach Sunny Beach?
By air plane:
The fastest way to reach Sunny Beach from Sofia is by plane – Sofia – Burgas. Traveling from Burgas – individual transport, regular buses or taxis.
By bus:
You can take direct bus (Sofia – Sunny Beach) from the Central Bus Station in Sofia. During the summer period preliminary ticket purchasing (at least a week prior to departure date) is recommended.
By train:
You can take a train to Burgas from the Central Railway Station in Sofia. For sleeping-car you need a preliminary ticket purchase (at least a week prior to travel date). From Burgas you can take a bus or a taxi to Sunny Beach.
The transport in Sunny Beach is ecologically clean – mini trains, cycle rickshaws and bicycles.

HEALTH & BALNEOLOGY:
The mineral water springs from a few hydrothermal sources with temperature 28-34 °С (higher than the sea water temperature), with total capacity of 4,6 l/sec, respectively about 400 000 litres per day. The water is moderately to highly mineralized, chloride-sodium-calcium, with light alkaline reaction (рН 7,5), clear, colourless, with high general water solidity. One of the most important advantages of the water is its high calcium ions content. The fluorine content is 2,3 to 4,3 mg/l,  while on the sea bottom it is 1,4 mg/l.
The sea climate and balneological resort of Sunny Beach has numerous hotels and holiday settlements and their guests can enjoy sun-air baths and sea bathing and varied holiday entertainment events.
