Middle States
It is with great pride that we share: Maria Regina High School has received its first ever Middle States Accreditation. On Friday April 14, President Christian Talbot of The Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS) announced that 156 schools and school systems in 15 states, as well as Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and 22 other countries have earned accreditation or reaccreditation, the gold standard for measuring and advancing school improvement. Maria Regina is proud to be among these exceptional schools and school systems.
This important milestone demonstrates Maria Regina’s commitment to providing the best education possible for the students of the present and the future.
Middle States accreditation is a multifaceted evaluation process that schools and school systems voluntarily use to demonstrate they are meeting a defined set of research-based performance standards. “The Middle States accreditation process supports schools in developing a strategic plan for the future that is built upon continuous school improvement,” said Lisa Marie McCauley, Ed.D., president of the Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools. “Middle States accredited schools should be commended for their commitment to collaboration, growth and advancing student achievement.”
Without a doubt, we could not have reached this monumental goal without the support of our entire school community:
To the members of the Board of Trustees: With your commitment to supporting the 任务 of Maria Regina and all those entrusted in carrying it out, Maria Regina will continue to exceed expectations as an institution of learning, growth and spirituality for young women.
To our Faculty & Staff: This achievement is the result of your daily dedication, 努力工作, and commitment to excellence that has been instrumental to the success of our school for the last 65 years. Thank you for your unwavering devotion to the success of our students, each another and to the entire Maria Regina High School community.
To our students: This accreditation serves to affirm that Maria Regina remains committed to your growth and success by looking inward and making plans. Middle States Accreditation means being committed to involving all members of the community, including students, in improving the quality of the educational experience, both teaching and learning, and student well-being. To our parents: As partners in your daughter’s education, Middle States Accreditation benefits our student’s families as well by allowing our students to qualify for a variety of college scholarships and increases their academic standing in the college admissions process.
To our alumnae, benefactors & friends: Without a doubt, we could not have reached this monumental goal without your support throughout the years. Middle States Accreditation benefits our students' families by allowing our students to qualify for a variety of college scholarships, increasing their academic standing in the college admissions process and providing our school the opportunity to qualify for grants not previously available to us.
We thank you for your continued support as Maria Regina designs its best future for our students, staff and our school.
In Charity and Truth,
MRHS Administration
