Superside alternativesA great service for big teams. Not every brand is one.
Superside is a large creative subscription used by big marketing teams for everything from ads to presentations. If you mainly need ads for Meta and TikTok, and your budget is a fraction of an enterprise one, there are other ways to get them. Here is an honest comparison, including when Superside is the right choice.
What does Superside cost?
G2 lists Superside's Flex subscription at $15,000 a month (G2). Superside's pricing page says each subscription includes a monthly budget and a $1,000 service fee. Source: Superside pricing. For that, a team gets a broad creative service: ads, but also brand design, presentations, illustration and more, from one provider.
That price makes sense for a company with a large, steady flow of design work across many teams. It is more than most small and mid-sized brands spend on their ads in total, which is why people look for alternatives.
Who is Superside the right choice for?
Large brands and in-house marketing teams that need many kinds of design work, managed through one contract, with the account management and security reviews big companies expect. If your work spans web pages, sales decks, social posts and ads every week, one broad provider can be simpler than several narrow ones.
If that is you, a smaller specialist is the wrong comparison, and we would say so on a call.
Which Superside alternatives publish a price?
Ten alternatives publish a starting price or have one reported: design subscriptions, video-first services and our own ad creative plans. The table sets out each one's starting price as listed, what the plan includes, the contract, whether video is part of it and who it suits, with the source for every figure.
Starting prices are not like for like. Some buy hours of a designer's time, some buy a number of open requests, and some buy finished videos or ads. Compare what a month of each delivers for the work you need, and treat a figure from a rival's report as a pointer to check, not a quote.

What are the alternatives to Superside for Meta and TikTok ads?
There are four kinds, each suited to a different brand. A focused ad creative subscription makes finished ads for paid social on a fixed monthly fee. A freelance designer or editor makes what you brief, one job at a time. A UGC platform connects you with creators who film themselves with your product. And an in-house hire gives you a person on the team.
Our ad creative agency vs freelancer vs in-house page compares those options in depth, and our teardowns show how we judge an ad. Here is how each stacks up against a big design subscription.
How does a focused ad creative subscription compare?
It is narrower and cheaper. Vistalis makes only Meta and TikTok ads, delivered every week as a set of distinct ideas, from £1,250 a month for 12 ads, which is £104.17 to £85 an ad depending on the plan. Every price is on our ad creative pricing page.
What you give up is breadth: we do not make decks, websites or brand identities. What you gain is a service built around one job, finding ads that win on paid social, with each drop planned as a test and the next drop built on the results.
How do freelancers and UGC platforms compare?
A good freelancer can be the cheapest route for a single project and the most flexible. The work depends on one person's time and taste, and you write every brief, check every file and plan every test yourself.
UGC platforms are built for raw creator videos. Billo, a UGC marketplace, says on its own blog that its videos start at $99 each, bought in prepaid packs. Source: Billo. You still edit, caption and size the footage into ads, which suits brands with someone in-house to do that. Our page on creative subscription vs UGC platform goes deeper.
What should you ask any creative partner before signing?
Ask the same questions of every option, big or small. What exactly do I get each month, and in what sizes? How many rounds of changes are included? Who owns the finished work, and for how long can I run it? What is the minimum term, and what does it cost to leave? And how will you use my results to make the next ads better?
The last question separates services that deliver files from services that deliver improvement. A partner who reads your hook rates and costs each week and plans the next ads around them is worth more than one who only follows briefs.
Our answers to all of these are public: the plans and terms on our pricing page, and the straight answers on our ad creative service FAQ.
How do you choose between them?
Start with what you need each month. If it is many kinds of design for many teams, a broad subscription such as Superside fits. If it is a steady supply of tested ads for Meta and TikTok, a focused subscription fits. If it is one campaign, a freelancer fits. If it is creator footage to edit yourself, a UGC platform fits.
Then check the cost per tested idea, not the cost per file. The cheapest option per video can be the most expensive per winning ad if nobody plans the tests. If you are unsure which you are, a free ad review of your current ads is a good place to start.
Questions people ask
What does a minimum term mean in a creative subscription?
It is the shortest time you commit to before you can cancel. Big subscriptions often ask for a year; smaller services may ask for a few months or none. Check the term, the notice period and what happens to unused work before you sign.
Do alternatives to Superside cover video?
Most do, in different ways: freelancers and editors cut video to your brief, UGC platforms supply creator footage, and focused ad services such as ours deliver finished video, static and motion ads together.
Is there a cheaper way to get Meta ads made than an agency?
Yes: a freelancer, a UGC platform or a focused ad creative subscription usually costs less than a broad agency. Compare the cost per tested idea, including the time your team spends briefing, editing and planning.
Is Vistalis a cheaper Superside?
Not exactly. We are narrower: only Meta and TikTok ads, planned as weekly tests. If you need presentations, web design or brand work as well, a broad service fits better.
Does Superside make Meta and TikTok ads?
Yes, ads are one of many kinds of work it offers. The difference is breadth and price, not whether it can make an ad.
Can I switch from a big agency to a smaller service?
Yes. Most brands keep their best-performing ads running and start the new provider on fresh ideas beside them, so there is no gap in what is live.
